Send fuel back to the inlet from the shut off to eliminate parasitic pressure.
Pump Saver with a 3 Way Return Block  includes a 85110 3 Way -6 Shut off  valve ( tell us if you want -6 or -8 where it goes into pump )

Mechanical fuel pump Loop system- Offers three  extra return ports all -6 

 Does not include the pump,   

  Please tell us  if you NEED  -8    -10  or -12   bottom fitting for your hose 

Fits all Cast Iron  80A  fuel pumps 

This will allow you to push the shut off while the engine is still in a high

 rpm  without the fear of super high pump pressure occuring.
