THE MED 5/16" CORE 49141 CABLE IS OK FOR PUMPS UNDER 9 GPM -BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS USE THE XL WHICH IS 49161

Ends will be 3/8" Hex Male and 3/8" Hex Female unless you want to special order a cable with 7/16" Ends

Will Drive pumps From 3 gpm up to 9 GPM

Installation requires that you use an

ADEL Clamp every 1 ft OR RUN CABLE THROUGH PVC TUBING AND BRACE IT WELL

THE TRICK IS TO AVOID ANY 'WHIPPING" IF POSSIBLE

The longer the cable, the more support it should have.
