Small Block Chevy Crankshaft support -   For High Boost engines , or overdrives 20% or More

The Blower will try to pull the Crankshaft up into the upper main bearing without a support , often breaking off the snout of a small block crankshaft  -  This helps that issue by putting the crankshaft in a more neutral  support fashion.  Sort of like having a 6th main bearing.
