Cam spud 429- 460 ford made in USA - Will fit a FE Engine if you change the bolt to a coarse thread
Can fit some Pontiacs, Olds, Cadillac's if drilled to 1/2"
Bolts to existing cam gear - 7/16 cam gear bolt
Allows the use of cam-driven injector pumps, water pumps, etc. that may be driven from the front of the camshaft
Accommodates 3/8-inch hexagonal driveshaft (not included)
Adapter is .850" - Overall length 2.20"
The cam is driven by a 5/16” dowel pin. When the timing gear is installed, the dowel pin is recessed back in the hole (on the face of the gear). The spud adapter goes on this surface...and the little set screw goes into that hole. That keeps the spud from rotating if the bolt is not fully torqued.
The depth is adjustable since in the aftermarket world...nothing is standard.
