Partial means, it has shaft, butterflies, stops, arms,  no barrel valve or mechanical injectors-  Usually for EFI setups.  BAU2 -  "Short"  8-3/4" 

Generally - too large for most EFI systems unless you use progressive linkage or use our block off plugs.
